Have I mentioned yet how happy we are with not just our new house, but our new neighbors as well? We are so, so lucky. Here are a few more pictures my sweet neighbor took a couple days ago:
In other news, Lucy’s little sister has not yet made her appearance. She is starting to tease us – I’m dilated quite a bit, and was told not to wait very long before we went into the hospital when I started having contractions. So… yesterday morning, after having pretty mild contractions for about five hours, we went in just to get checked. The nurse took one look at me, and told me I “looked too good” and likely would not be admitted. Sure enough, we were sent on our merry way, and told to do some walking to get things moving. We walked, and walked, and walked, to no avail. Our little one clearly will arrive when she’s good and ready, and in the meantime, we are back at home, relaxing, and enjoying our remaining time as a family of three!
